Greek Teachers Wanted:
At the Hellenic Orthodox Community Greek Schools our teachers are employed on a casual basis. This provides an exciting opportunity for a mix of personnel to be employed by us. From young university graduates keen to commence employment, to newly arrived Greek teachers looking for an opportunity be employed, we are keen to speak to people passionate and eager to teach the Greek language to our students.
We also at times require teachers to cover for staff who may be sick or on short leave. If you cannot commit to a regular class but are interested in covering classes when needed, please contact us also.
Since classes are taught in different locations there is strong emphasis on computing skills for communication and information delivery. We expect teachers to have access to a mobile phone, a computer and email and have the ability to create Greek language resources using Microsoft Office or similar suites.
Please note that our five Greek School centres are located in the St George District of Sydney.
